FAQs

Hydic Gel contains Diclofenac, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate, and Menthol. Diclofenac and Methyl Salicylate work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Linseed oil inhibits inflammatory mediators like leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation. Menthol provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels. Together, Hydic Gel helps provide relief from mild to moderate pain in musculoskeletal and joint conditions.

Avoid concomitant use of Hydic Gel with other topical products such as cosmetics, sunscreens, lotions, moisturisers, insect repellent creams and other gels.

Do not apply external heat or cover the treated skin with dressings after applying Hydic Gel. Avoid wearing clothes or gloves for at least 10minutes after applying Hydic Gel.

Hydic Gel should not be used on broken or open wounds, infections, or severely peeling skin.

About Hydic Gel

Hydic Gel belongs to the class of medications called topical analgesics primarily used to relieve acute musculoskeletal pain and osteoarthritis. It effectively reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness, thereby improving your ability to move and flex the joint. Osteoarthritis is a long term musculoskeletal joint disorder that causes damage to the cartilage and surrounding tissues characterized by pain, swelling, stiffness, and loss of function.

Hydic Gel contains diclofenac, linseed oil, methyl salicylate, and menthol. Diclofenac and methyl salicylate work by lowering hormones in the body that cause inflammation and pain. Linseed oil inhibits inflammatory mediators like leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation. Menthol is a soothing and cooling agent which provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels. Together, Hydic Gel helps relieve mild to moderate pain in musculoskeletal and joint conditions.

Hydic Gel is only for external use. Use Hydic Gel for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as itching, irritation, redness, and burning sensation at the application site. The majority of these side effects do not necessitate medical attention and will subside gradually over time. However, if you are experiencing these side effects regularly, you should consult your doctor.

Please do not use Hydic Gel without doctor advice if you had a skin reaction or irritation to any medicine. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Hydic Gel in more than prescribed doses or longer duration as it may cause adverse effects. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and all the medicines to rule out any side effects. Do not take any other NSAID's for pain relief along with Hydic Gel unless prescribed. Hydic Gel is not recommended for children below 14years as safety and efficacy have not been established.
