Imijet 500mg Injection belongs to a class of medicines called selective serotonin receptor agonists primarily used to treat acute migraine headaches with or without aura and acute cluster headaches in adults. Aura is a phase before the start of a migraine headache that involves numbness and speech or vision disorders. Migraine is a common disorder associated with multiple symptoms but frequently causes headache of varying intensity, usually along with nausea and sensitivity to light and sound.
Imijet 500mg Injection contains Sumatriptan that, constricts blood vessels in the brain, prevents pain signals from reaching the brain, and inhibits the release of certain natural substances that cause pain, nausea, and other migraine or cluster headache symptoms. Sumatriptan does not prevent migraine headaches.
Imijet 500mg Injection will be administered by a healthcare professional; do not self-administer.
