Intagenta 80mg Injection is an antibiotic that treats severe/serious bacterial infections. It contains Gentamicin which works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thus inhibiting bacterial growth. It shows a bacteriostatic effect, which stops bacterial reproduction but doesn't kill them. Intagenta 80mg Injection is useful in treating recurrent infections of kidneys, urinary ducts and bladder, lungs and airways infections during hospitalization, infections of the skin and soft tissues, including burns, and sepsis (blood poisoning by bacteria).

• Liver and kidney function monitoring (Liver and kidney function tests) are recommended in patients with severe liver and kidney diseases.
