Avoid contact of K-Calm Lotion with nose, mouth, eyes, vagina or rectum as it may cause irritation. In case K-Calm Lotion comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Do not swallow K-Calm Lotion. In case of accidental swallowing, consult a doctor immediately. Do not freeze.

K-Calm Lotion contains Calamine (anti-itching agent) and Light liquid paraffin (emollient). Calamine causes cooling sensation as it evaporates on the skin. Light liquid paraffin is an emollient (softens and soothes skin) that prevents loss of water from the outer layer of skin. Thus, it hydrates and softens the skin and relieves dryness. Hence, K-Calm Lotion is used to treat mild itching conditions.

K-Calm Lotion belongs to a class of drugs called anti-itching agents used to treat mild itching in conditions such as rashes, eczema, sunburn, stings, insect bites, chickenpox, and poison ivy. Eczema is a skin condition that causes itchy, cracked, swollen, or rough skin.
