Do not take Liquid Paraffin I.P. if you are allergic to any of its contents, if you have had acute abdominal surgery, intestinal obstruction, or undiagnosed abdominal pain. Do not take Liquid Paraffin I.P. for more than a week as it might cause dependency on Liquid Paraffin I.P. for a bowel movement.
