About Lom 0.3% Eye Drop
Lom 0.3% Eye Drop belongs to a group of antibiotic medicines called fluoroquinolones for treating bacterial eye infections such as bacterial conjunctivitis, blepharoconjunctivitis, and blepharitis. Additionally, it is also used to treat corneal ulcers and keratitis.
Lom 0.3% Eye Drop contains Lomefloxacin, that works by interfering with the bacterial DNA processes which are necessary for their survival. Thereby, Lom 0.3% Eye Drop kills the bacteria and helps treat bacterial infection.
In some cases, Lom 0.3% Eye Drop may cause side effects like local irritation or a slight and transient burning sensation immediately after using eye drops. Drug Warnings
Do not use Lom 0.3% Eye Drop if you are allergic to any of its components. Seek medical advice from the doctor before using Lom 0.3% Eye Drop if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. To avoid reduction of efficacy, eye preparations containing heavy metals such as zinc and copper should not be used within 15 minutes of using Lom 0.3% Eye Drop.
