FAQs

LS-Ease Sugar Free Strawberry Flavour Syrup contains Levosalbutamol sulphate, Ambroxol hydrochloride, and Guaiphenesin. Levosalbutamol sulphate is a bronchodilator that works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Ambroxol hydrochloride is a mucolytic drug that thins and loosens phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose. It also thins and softens coughs and sputum, facilitating simple coughing out as a result. Guaiphenesin is an expectorant that works by increasing the volume of fluid in the airways, reducing the stickiness of mucus, and helping to remove it from the airways.

About LS-Ease Sugar Free Strawberry Flavour Syrup

LS-Ease Sugar Free Strawberry Flavour Syrup belongs to the class of medicines called 'expectorants' used in the treatment of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and cough associated with mucus. Coughing (dry or productive) is the body's way of clearing irritants (like allergens, mucus, or smoke) from airways and preventing infection. There are two types of coughs, namely: dry cough and chesty cough. A dry cough is tickly and doesn't produce any vicious or thick mucus, while a chesty cough (wet cough) means mucous or sputum is produced to help clear your airways.

LS-Ease Sugar Free Strawberry Flavour Syrup is a combination of three drugs, namely Levosalbutamol sulphate (bronchodilator), Ambroxol hydrochloride (mucolytic agent), and Guaiphenesin (expectorant). Levosalbutamol sulphate works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Ambroxol hydrochloride is a mucolytic drug that thins and loosens phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose. It also thins and softens coughs and sputum, facilitating simple coughing out as a result. Guaiphenesin works by increasing the volume of fluid in the airways, reducing the stickiness of mucus, and helping to remove it from the airways.

Use LS-Ease Sugar Free Strawberry Flavour Syrup as prescribed. Your doctor will suggest the dose and how often your child needs LS-Ease Sugar Free Strawberry Flavour Syrup based on his/her medical condition. Sometimes, LS-Ease Sugar Free Strawberry Flavour Syrup may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, headache, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of LS-Ease Sugar Free Strawberry Flavour Syrup do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult a doctor.

Do not use LS-Ease Sugar Free Strawberry Flavour Syrup if your child is allergic to any of the ingredients in LS-Ease Sugar Free Strawberry Flavour Syrup . If your child is suffering from fits or has a history of fits, please inform your doctor before using this medicine as it may increase the risk of recurrent fits.
