Meftal-Spas Neo Drops contains Simethicone which belongs to the antiflatulent class of medicine. Simethicone works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating gas expulsion through flatus or belching (burping). Thus Meftal-Spas Neo Drops helps treat digestive problems, promoting the digestion of carbohydrates and proteins. It also helps in the absorption of essential nutrients in the intestine.

About Meftal-Spas Neo Drops

Meftal-Spas Neo Drops is an antiflatulent medicine primarily used to treat flatulence and indigestion in babies. In children, indigestion or stomach upset can be a symptom of milk intolerance or food allergy. Meftal-Spas Neo Drops helps in treating these conditions, such as dyspepsia (indigestion) and flatulence (gas). Indigestion/dyspepsia can be defined as the inability to digest food that is associated with pain and discomfort in the stomach. Flatulence is the build-up of gas in the digestive system that can lead to abdominal discomfort

Meftal-Spas Neo Drops contains Simethicone which belongs to the antiflatulent class of medicine. Simethicone works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating gas expulsion through flatus or belching (burping).

Meftal-Spas Neo Drops is generally safe to be used in children. It rarely causes side effects such as nausea, diarrhoea and abdominal pain. These effects resolve over time. However, if these side effects worsen or bother your child, please consult your paediatrician. Meftal-Spas Neo Drops should be given as advised by your doctor. Do not give the child more than the prescribed dose of Meftal-Spas Neo Drops. Meftal-Spas Neo Drops can be given with or without food. Your paediatrician will decide the dose of the medicine.
