individuals should be monitored for herpes zoster signs and symptoms while taking MS-120 Capsule because serious herpes zoster instances have been reported in individuals receiving the medication. MS-120 Capsule has also been linked to other severe opportunistic infections, such as bacterial, fungal, and viral infections.

How to manage the interaction:
Patients should be monitored for signs/symptoms of herpes zoster (shingles) while on MS-120 Capsule as serious cases of herpes zoster have occurred in patients treated with MS-120 Capsule. Withholding MS-120 Capsule treatment in patients with herpes zoster or other serious infections until the infection has resolved should be considered.

Although there is no need to change the dosage when taking MS-120 Capsule in patients with liver disease, caution is advised because these patients have not been examined with the drug. Patients using MS-120 Capsule in post-marketing situations have experienced clinically severe liver damage. Serum aminotransferase rises to more than five times the upper limit of normal (ULN) and elevation of total bilirubin to more than two times the ULN have also been noted as signs or symptoms of liver impairment; both abnormalities disappeared after the medication was stopped.

Patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) who were taking MS-120 Capsule experienced progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML). PML is an opportunistic viral infection of the brain brought on by the John Cunningham virus (JC virus), and it typically results in death or severe disability. For patients with MS, caution and monitoring are advised. When a patient exhibits the first PML symptom or sign, MS-120 Capsule should be discontinued and a proper diagnostic examination should be carried out.

MS-120 Capsule should be withheld at the first sign/symptom suggestive of Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML-a viral infection) and an appropriate diagnostic evaluation should be performed.
