Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's contains Esomeprazole and Domperidone. Esomeprazole works by blocking the action of an enzyme called gastric proton pump, which is responsible for the production of acid. Domperidone works by increasing the movements and contractions of stomach muscles. Together, Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's helps in treating acidity.
Diarrhoea might be a side-effect of Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's. Drink enough fluids and eat non-spicy food if you experience diarrhoea. Consult your doctor if you experience excessive diarrhoea or if you find blood in your stools.
Avoid lying down immediately after meals to prevent acid reflux. Raise the head of the bed 10-20cm by putting a pillow so that the head and chest are above the waist. This helps in preventing acid reflux.
Dry mouth could be a side-effect of Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's. Limiting caffeine intake, avoiding smoking and mouthwashes containing alcohol, drinking water regularly, and chewing sugar-free gum/candy might help stimulate saliva and thereby prevent drying of the mouth.
Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's contains domperidone which helps in treating nausea and vomiting by increasing the movements and contractions of stomach muscles.
Do not take Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's for longer durations unless prescribed by the doctor. Consult your doctor if your condition does not improve even after taking Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's for 14days.
Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's should not be taken along with HIV medicines such as atazanavir, ritonavir, nelfinavir, and saquinavir as Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's might affect their absorption. On long-term treatment, Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's might increase the risk of bone fracture in the spine, wrist or hip. Inform your doctor if you have osteoporosis or if you are taking corticosteroids, as they can increase the risk of bone fractures.

Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's belongs to a group of gastrointestinal agents used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and stomach ulcers. The stomach is usually protected from acid by a mucous layer. Drug Warnings
Do not take Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's if you are allergic to any of its contents or other proton pump inhibitors (such as pantoprazole, rabeprazole, lansoprazole or omeprazole); if you are taking nelfinavir (used to treat HIV); if you have prolactinoma (tumour of the pituitary gland), blockage in intestines, bleeding in stomach or intestine, moderate to severe liver disease, low level of potassium or magnesium or high levels of magnesium, or heart problems. Inform your doctor before taking Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's if you have severe kidney, heart or liver disease, or if you are due to have Chromogranin A blood test; if you have fungal infections, heart problems or HIV infection. Talk to your doctor if you experience weight loss, problems with swallowing, stomach pain, indigestion, vomit food or blood, or if you pass black stools while taking Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's. On long-term treatment, Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's may cause low magnesium levels, vitamin B12 levels, and might increase the risk of bone fractures; the doctor may advise regular tests for monitoring your condition. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's should not be given to children as safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Nusopraz RD Capsule 10's as it could lead to increased drowsiness and can elevate the production of stomach acid.
