Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Ofloglan 200mg Injection does not work against infections caused by a virus.
Ofloglan 200mg Injection contains Ofloxacin that works by interfering with bacterial enzyme, DNA gyrase involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thus, Ofloglan 200mg Injection kills bacteria and clears the infection.
Ofloglan 200mg Injection will be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer. In some cases, you may experience redness, swelling or pain at the injection site, headache, nausea, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of Ofloglan 200mg Injection do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Ofloxacin or other antibiotics or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy, please inform your doctor before taking Ofloglan 200mg Injection. Avoid taking Ofloglan 200mg Injection and consult a doctor if you are breastfeeding as Ofloglan 200mg Injection may be excreted in human milk and cause adverse effects in the baby. Ofloglan 200mg Injection is not recommended for children below 18 years as the safety and effectiveness were not established. Drive only if you are alert as Ofloglan 200mg Injection may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or changes in vision. Avoid alcohol consumption with Ofloglan 200mg Injection as it may cause sleepiness or dizziness.
