Omeflox Eye Ointment contains Ofloxacin which works by inhibiting DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thereby, kills bacteria and clears infection.
Use Omeflox Eye Ointment as prescribed by your doctor. Omeflox Eye Ointment is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Omeflox Eye Ointment for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience dry eyes, blurred vision, eye discomfort, eye redness, mild itching, or irritation in the eye. Most of these side effects of Omeflox Eye Ointment do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Omeflox Eye Ointment or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Omeflox Eye Ointment should be used for children only in doses as advised by the doctor.
