Co-administration of Osteofos 10 mg Tablet and Etelcalcetide may increase the risk of hypocalcemia (low levels of calcium).

Although taking Osteofos 10 mg Tablet and Etelcalcetide together can evidently cause an interaction, it can be taken if a doctor has suggested it. Make sure to regularly check a blood calcium level and let a doctor know if you experience any symptoms like numbness, muscle spasms, or irregular heartbeat. They can help you if anything feels off. Co-administration of Osteofos 10 mg Tablet (oral form) with Deferasirox may increase the risk of developing gastrointestinal ulcers.

How does the disease interact with Osteofos 10 mg Tablet:
Osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ), which can occur spontaneously, is generally associated with tooth extraction and/or local infection with delayed healing,and has been reported in patients taking bisphosphonates.

How to manage the interaction:
Osteofos 10 mg Tablet is to be discontinued in patients undergoing invasive dental procedures. If patients develop osteonecrosis of the jaw while taking this medicine, care should be taken by an oral surgeon.
