Ovafil-9 Tablet 10's

Ovafil-9 Tablet 10's belongs to the class of 'multivitamins', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss). 

Ovafil-9 Tablet 10's contains L-Methylfolate Calcium, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate and Methylcobalamin. L-Methylfolate calcium helps in producing new blood cells and prevents low folate levels. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate is a water-soluble vitamin involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism, formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Methylcobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. 

Your doctor will decide the duration based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Ovafil-9 Tablet 10's may cause common side effects like nausea, stomach upset, and diarrhoea. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. Please consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Let your doctor know if you use any other medicines or herbal products before starting Ovafil-9 Tablet 10's. If you are allergic to Ovafil-9 Tablet 10's or its inactive components, please inform your doctor. If you are a pregnant or breastfeeding mother, please consult your doctor before taking Ovafil-9 Tablet 10's. Ovafil-9 Tablet 10's should not be given to children unless advised by a doctor. It is not known if alcohol interacts with Ovafil-9 Tablet 10's, so consult a doctor if you have any concerns.

Ovafil-9 Tablet 10's is used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It contains L-Methylfolate calcium, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate and Methylcobalamin. L-Methylfolate calcium helps the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. It prevents and treats folate deficiency. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6) is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism, formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. It helps in cognitive development through the biosynthesis of neurotransmitters and maintains normal homocysteine levels (an amino acid in the blood). Methylcobalamin (Mecobalamin) regulates body functions like cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. It treats alcoholic and diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage) and pernicious anaemia.

Inform your doctor if you have malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food) before starting Ovafil-9 Tablet 10's. Let your doctor know if you have any blood disorders like pernicious anaemia before starting Ovafil-9 Tablet 10's. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Ovafil-9 Tablet 10's.

• Clinical monitoring of vitamins B12 and B6 levels through blood examinations is recommended. 
• Let your doctor and the laboratory staff know if you are using Ovafil-9 Tablet 10's since Pyridoxal-5-phosphate may interfere with laboratory tests like urine tests for urobilinogen.
