Pregastar Plus Sr 75mg Tablet 15's is a combination of medicine that belongs to the class of medicines known as ‘anticonvulsant'. It is primarily used for the treatment of neuropathic pain. Neuropathic pain is a chronic nerve pain usually caused by damaged nerves due to a variety of diseases like diabetes, shingles (viral infection that causes a painful rash) or spinal cord injury, injuries to tissue, muscles or joints.

Pregastar Plus Sr 75mg Tablet 15's contains four medicines namely Pregabalin, Mecobalamin, Folic acid and Pyridoxine. Pregabalin works by calming the damaged or overactive nerves in your body that may cause nerve or musculoskeletal pain or seizures. Besides this, it also decreases the number of pain signals sent out by damaged nerves in the body. Mecobalamin and pyridoxine both are forms of vitamin B and helps in the reconstruction and protection of damaged nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin. A folic acid is also a form of vitamin B that helps in providing essential nutrients to the nerves. Together, Pregastar Plus Sr 75mg Tablet 15's helps in providing relief from neuropathic (damage nerve) pain.
