Abdominal (tummy) pain occurs between your chest and pelvic region (below the belly button and leg). Stomach cramps can be due to bloating (trapped wind), diarrhoea, kidney stones, stomach ulcer, appendicitis, or other gastrointestinal conditions like inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

Rantispas 10mg/150mg Tablet contains dicyclomine and Ranitidine. Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic and helps treat spasms and pain by relaxing the muscles. It also blocks certain chemical messengers in the brain, which causes pain sensation. Ranitidine works by blocking histamine H2 receptors located on the stomach lining, thereby reducing gastric acid secretion. Together, Rantispas 10mg/150mg Tablet helps in relieving abdominal pain and cramps.

Rantispas 10mg/150mg Tablet should be taken with food to avoid an upset stomach. Rantispas 10mg/150mg Tablet should be taken at the same time of the day each time for the best results. Inform your doctor about your ongoing medications, especially about non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory (NSAID) medicines (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen) for pain and inflammation; lidocaine, a local anaesthetic; diazepam, for worry or anxiety problems; warfarin for thinning your blood, glipizide for lowering blood glucose, gefitinib for lung cancer. In case you have diarrhoea, consult your doctor before starting Rantispas 10mg/150mg Tablet as it could be harmful. Alcohol intake should be avoided as it may cause excessive drowsiness.
