Raymoxi-P E/D 5ml

Raymoxi-P E/D 5ml belongs to the class of medications called ‘antibacterial’ primarily taken to treat various bacterial eye infections. Infectious or harmful bacteria can make you sick and reproduce quickly in your body. These harmful bacteria produce chemicals known as toxins, which can damage tissue and make you sick.

Raymoxi-P E/D 5ml is a combination of two medicines: Moxifloxacin and Prednisolone. Moxifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that stops bacteria from making a copy of their genetic material (DNA), thereby killing and stopping bacterial infection growth. Thus together, Raymoxi-P E/D 5ml treats the infection effectively. On the other side, Prednisolone is a steroid drug that works by lowering the immune system's activity, which in turn reduces inflammation and swelling. Both medications in combination, treat bacterial infections.

Raymoxi-P E/D 5ml should be taken as advised by your doctor. Take this Raymoxi-P E/D 5ml in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Raymoxi-P E/D 5ml may cause common side effects like temporary blurry vision. These side effects need not require any medical attention. If it persists, please consult your doctor immediately.

Do not use Raymoxi-P E/D 5ml If you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you are using the other prescription and non-prescription medicines. Before taking Raymoxi-P E/D 5ml, inform your doctor if you are pregnant/planned to get pregnant/breastfeeding mother. This medicine may cause temporary blurred vision; hence drive only when you are alert and have clear vision. Raymoxi-P E/D 5ml should be used in children only when advised by a doctor. 

Raymoxi-P E/D 5ml is used to treat bacterial eye infections. Moxifloxacin belongs to a group of drugs known as quinolone antibiotics that stop the growth of bacteria. This drug stops the bacteria's ability to copy their DNA. This action results in the killing of bacteria and stops them from producing other bacteria. This action treats bacterial infection. Prednisolone belongs to a group of drugs known as 'Corticosteroids,' which reduces inflammation caused by bacterial infections. This medicine reduces the activity of the immune system and reduces bacterial infection. 

Raymoxi-P E/D 5ml should only be used to prevent or treat infections caused by bacteria. Discontinue the use of Raymoxi-P E/D 5ml if you notice any severe allergic reaction in the body. Raymoxi-P E/D 5ml may cause side effects like blurry vision, affecting your driving ability. Do not drive or operate machinery in such cases. Drive only when you are alert and have clear vision.

Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment, even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.
