RENTRA 1MG TABLET belongs to the group of anti-cancer medicines called aromatase inhibitors used to treat breast cancer in women who have gone through menopause (cessation of menses periods). RENTRA 1MG TABLET works by blocking the aromatase enzyme, which is involved in producing the estrogen hormone. The cancer cells require estrogen for their growth. Hence, blocking the aromatase enzyme, RENTRA 1MG TABLET prevents the growth of cancer cells. Together, RENTRA 1MG TABLET helps prevent or stop the growth of spreading tumours (cancer cells) to other body parts.

Take RENTRA 1MG TABLET as prescribed by your doctor. Depending on your medical conditions, you are advised to take RENTRA 1MG TABLET for as long as your doctor prescribes it.
