FAQs

Riflux Fortz Chewable Tablet works by neutralising excess stomach acid. It also helps relieve gas by facilitating the expulsion of gas through flatus or belching (burping).

Avoid lying down immediately after meals to prevent acidity. Raise the head of the bed 10-20cm by putting a pillow so that the head and chest are above the waist. This prevents acid reflux.

To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Riflux Fortz Chewable Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you experience any difficulty while taking Riflux Fortz Chewable Tablet .

About Riflux Fortz Chewable Tablet

Riflux Fortz Chewable Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called antacids used to treat acidity, heartburn, acid indigestion, sour stomach, gas, and stomach upset. The stomach is usually protected from acid by a mucous layer. In some cases, due to excess acid production, the mucous layer gets eroded, which leads to complications like acidity and heartburn.

Riflux Fortz Chewable Tablet contains Activated dimethicone, Aluminium magnesium silicate, Dried aluminium hydroxide, and Magnesium hydroxide. Dried aluminium hydroxide, aluminium magnesium silicate and magnesium hydroxide work by neutralising excess stomach acid. Activated dimethicone works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating the expulsion of gas through flatus or belching (burping).

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as nausea, constipation and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Do not take Riflux Fortz Chewable Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Please consult a doctor before giving Riflux Fortz Chewable Tablet to children. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medications to rule out any side effects/interactions.
