About Shreyzid Syrup
Shreyzid Syrup belongs to a class of medication called gastrointestinal agents used to treat duodenal ulcers, nausea, and vomiting. Duodenal ulcer is a peptic ulcer that develops in the duodenum (first part of the small intestine) due to erosion of the stomach's protective lining. Nausea is a feeling of uneasiness in the stomach that often comes before vomiting. On the other hand, vomiting is the forcible voluntary or involuntary emptying of stomach contents through the mouth.
Shreyzid Syrup is a combination of two drugs: Sucralfate (gastrointestinal protectant) and Domperidone (antinausea agent).
