Start Nerve 75 Capsule belongs to a group of medications known as 'anticonvulsants' used to manage neuropathic pain due to damaged nerves. Neuropathic pain is a chronic progressive nerve disease that causes nerve pain due to nerve damage or a malfunctioning nervous system. The pain could be intermittent or continuous, which is felt as a prickling, stabbing, tingling, or burning sensation. 

Start Nerve 75 Capsule is a combination of two drugs: Methylcobalamin/Mecobalamin (vitamin B12) and Pregabalin (anti-convulsant). Mecobalamin protects nerve fibres and rejuvenates nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin. Pregabalin works by changing how nerves send messages to the brain. Together, Start Nerve 75 Capsule helps to treat neuropathic pain (pain due to nerve damage). 

Take Start Nerve 75 Capsule as prescribed by your doctor. Depending on your medical condition, you are advised to take Start Nerve 75 Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you. In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, heartburn, dry mouth, dizziness, sleepiness, and uncoordinated body movements. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not take Start Nerve 75 Capsule if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed by the doctor. Start Nerve 75 Capsule causes drowsiness and dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Start Nerve 75 Capsule should not be given to children as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol with Start Nerve 75 Capsule as it could lead to increased dizziness and sleepiness. Please do not stop taking Start Nerve 75 Capsule without consulting your doctor as it could cause withdrawal symptoms. Women of child-bearing potential should use effective contraception.  Inform your doctor before taking Start Nerve 75 Capsule if you have heart problems, bipolar syndrome, severe liver disease or porphyria, diabetes, and asthma.
