VIRO 4 KIT TABLET is a combination of four drugs: Lamivudine, Atazanavir, Ritonavir and Tenofovir disoproxil. Lamivudine is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor, and Tenofovir disoproxil is a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor. These two drugs work by interfering with the working of nucleotide and nucleoside reverse transcriptase enzymes necessary for the virus's reproduction. Atazanavir and Ritonavir belong to the class of protease inhibitors. They work by inhibiting the protease enzyme production, which HIV-infected cells require to make new viruses. This effect helps to inhibit viral replication.

Do not stop taking VIRO 4 KIT TABLET without consulting your doctor, as it may reduce the effectiveness of anti-HIV therapy. Continue taking VIRO 4 KIT TABLET as long your doctor has prescribed it. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you experience any difficulty while taking VIRO 4 KIT TABLET.

VIRO 4 KIT TABLET does not cure HIV infection. You may still develop other illnesses and infections associated with HIV infection. Take necessary precautions, as you can pass on HIV to others.

About VIRO 4 KIT TABLET

VIRO 4 KIT TABLET belongs to a group of antiretroviral medicines used to treat HIV infection. HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) attacks the immune system and destroys the white blood cells that help fight infections, making the individual susceptible to other infections or illnesses.
 
VIRO 4 KIT TABLET is a combination of four drugs: Lamivudine, Atazanavir, Ritonavir and Tenofovir disoproxil. Lamivudine is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor, and Tenofovir disoproxil is a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor.   • Avoid eating raw meat and eggs. Consume properly boiled and cooked meat, poultry or seafood.
  • Eat bland and low-fat foods, and avoid spicy or oily foods if you experience nausea or vomiting.
  • Practise safe sex by using condoms; it helps in reducing contact with semen and vaginal fluids.
  • Never share personal items with body fluids or blood on them, such as razor blades or toothbrushes.
  • Avoid sharing used needles, other injection or drug equipment.
  • Get tested for other sexually transmitted infections, such as gonorrhoea or syphilis.
  • Try to reduce emotional and physical stress by spending time with your family or doing whatever makes you happy.
  • Drink more fluids and avoid alcoholic beverages to prevent dehydration.
