FAQs

Vominil Syrup contains metoclopramide which belongs to prokinetic agents. It works by blocking the messages between the chemoreceptor trigger zone – CTZ and the vomiting centre in the brain. This helps controls vomiting, thereby preventing nausea and vomiting.

If your child feels better, please consult your paediatrician before you stop giving Vominil Syrup to your child.

About Vominil Syrup

Vominil Syrup may cause dry mouth as a side effect. This can resolve over time. If this side effect worsens or bothers your child please consult your paediatrician. Vominil Syrup should be given as advised by your doctor. Do not give more than the prescribed dose to the child. Vominil Syrup can be given with or without food. The dose of the medicine will be decided by your paediatrician depending on the severity of the condition.
