XYNOVA 2% INJECTION may cause hypotension (low blood pressure) or hypertension (high blood pressure). Therefore, regular monitoring of blood pressure is advised whilst on treatment with XYNOVA 2% INJECTION.
Nausea and vomiting might be a side effect of XYNOVA 2% INJECTION. It is not necessary for everyone taking XYNOVA 2% INJECTION to experience these side effects. However, if the condition persists or worsens, please consult a doctor.
XYNOVA 2% INJECTION might increase creatinine phosphokinase levels. Therefore, if you are undergoing any tests, inform the person doing the tests that you have taken XYNOVA 2% INJECTION.

XYNOVA 2% INJECTION is indicated for the production of regional or local anaesthesia during surgery or medical procedures. Additionally, it is indicated in the management of ventricular arrhythmia (abnormal heartbeat) associated with acute myocardial infarction, or cardiac surgery.
XYNOVA 2% INJECTION contains ‘Lidocaine’ that blocks the influx (entry) of sodium ions into the membrane that surrounds the nerves, thereby preventing initiation and conduction of impulses; hence providing an anaesthetic effect.
