About Zoxan 0.3% Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml

Zoxan 0.3% Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml belongs to a group of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial eye and ear infections. An ear infection occurs when bacteria invade the middle or outer ear, causing pain and inflammation. Bacterial eye infection occurs when pathogenic bacteria enter any eye portion, including the eyeball, conjunctiva, and cornea.

Zoxan 0.3% Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml contains Ciprofloxacin which has bactericidal activity. It works by suppressing the enzyme DNA gyrase, which is essential for bacterial DNA synthesis. As a result, Zoxan 0.3% Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml inhibits bacterial development and treats bacterial eye/ear infections.

You are advised to use Zoxan 0.3% Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you.
