Zyderm Cream consists of Clotrimazole, Neomycin and Beclometasone. Clotrimazole, an antifungal drug, stops fungi's growth by causing damage and leakage to the fungal cell membrane. Neomycin is an antibiotic and prevents the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Beclometasone, a corticosteroid, works by blocking prostaglandin's production (chemical messengers) that make the affected area red, swollen and itchy.

Zyderm Cream is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If Zyderm Cream gets into your eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse with water. Do not put a bandage or a dressing on the affected area while using Zyderm Cream unless advised by the doctor. Do not apply Zyderm Cream on sunburns, open wounds, lesions and blisters.

You are required to maintain at least a three-hour gap after application of Zyderm Cream if you are using more than one topical medicine.

Please do not stop using Zyderm Cream on your own even if the symptoms are relieved. Your symptoms may improve before the skin infection is completely cured. Continue the usage of Zyderm Cream until your course advised by the doctor is finished.

About Zyderm Cream

Zyderm Cream is used to treat various fungal and bacterial skin infections. It treats skin inflammation due to allergies or irritants, eczema (inflamed, itchy, cracked and rough skin patches), psoriasis (skin cells multiply rapidly to form bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales), ringworm, athlete’s foot (fungal infection between the toes), jock itch (fungal infection in the skin of the genitals, inner thighs and buttocks), candidiasis (yeast infection), insect bites, and stings.

Zyderm Cream is composed of three medicines: Clotrimazole (antifungal), Neomycin (antibiotic) and Beclometasone (steroid). Clotrimazole is an antifungal medication that stops the growth of fungi by causing damage and leakage to the fungal cell membrane. Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic used in treating bacterial and fungal infections of the skin. It prevents the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. On the other hand, Beclometasone is a corticosteroid and blocks prostaglandin's production (chemical messengers) that make the affected area red, swollen and itchy.

Zyderm Cream is for topical (for skin) use only. If the medicine gets into your eyes, nose or mouth, rinse with cold water. Common side effects of Zyderm Cream include erythema (redness of the skin), stinging, blistering, peeling, pruritus (irritation of the skin causing an urge to scratch), itching, dryness and burning sensation at the application site. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, please consult your doctor.

Do not use topical Zyderm Cream on open wounds, blisters and lesions. Zyderm Cream is not for oral, ophthalmic (eye) or intravaginal use. Do not put a dressing or bandage on the affected area since it increases the risk of side effects. Please check with your doctor before using Zyderm Cream, if you have liver or kidney diseases. Directions for Use

Apply a thin layer of cream with clean and dry hands on the skin's affected areas. You can also apply it with a piece of clean cotton wool or gauze swab on the skin. Gently rub the medicine into the skin until it is disappeared. Wash your hands before and after applying the cream on the affected areas unless the treatment is for hands.
