Activision Capsule is used to treat eye diseases, such as ARMD (Age-related macular degeneration), uveitis, diabetic retinopathy, and cataract. It comprises Omega-3 Fatty Acids, Lutein, Zeaxanthin, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, L-Glutathione, Zinc, and Copper. When the ocular lens is exposed to oxygen, dust and light rays, it leads to the formation of free radicals that affect the vision. Activision Capsule is an anti-oxidant that prevents the eye damage caused due to such free radicals and maintains the healthy functioning of the eye. Lutein and Zeaxanthin are the carotenoids that filter the high energy blue light exposed onto the eye.

• Lutein is a carotenoid (plant pigment) with anti-inflammatory properties. It is also an antioxidant and ensures better vision and eye health. It is also used to treat and prevent various eye diseases.
• Zeaxanthin is a carotenoid that protects the eyes from damage caused due to high-intensity light, such as ultraviolet rays and oxidation. It protects the vision cells and aids to slow down the degeneration of the eye’s macula (part of the retina at the back of the eye).

Zinc may decrease the absorption of antibiotics, thereby reducing their effectiveness. It is advised to maintain at least an hour gap between this medicine and other antibiotics.

Vitamin C/Ascorbic acid may increase the absorption of aluminium from antacids. Hence it is advised to take it two hours before or four hours after taking antacids.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Answer

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and follow your usual dosage.
