Coadministration of Autrin XT Tablet and Cholestyramine may interfere with the absorption of Autrin XT Tablet.

How to manage the interaction:
Although taking Cholestyramine and Autrin XT Tablet together can result in an interaction, they can be taken together if prescribed by a doctor. However, if you experience Constipation, Diarrhea, Stomach pain, Nausea, or Loss of appetite, consult a doctor. Do not stop using any medications without consulting a doctor.

If you are allergic to Autrin XT Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before using Autrin XT Tablet . Autrin XT Tablet should be used with caution in children and only if recommended by a doctor. If you have an allergy to any sugars, inform your doctor before taking Autrin XT Tablet as it may contain lactose. If you have a stomach ulcer, vitamin B12 deficiency, any blood disorder, repeated blood transfusions, ulcerative colitis (inflammation of the colon), pernicious anaemia (anaemia due to lack of vitamin B12) or folate-dependent tumour, inform your doctor before taking Autrin XT Tablet .

Autrin XT Tablet is a combination of two drugs, namely: Ferrous ascorbate (iron supplement) and folic acid (a form of vitamin B9). Autrin XT Tablet works by increasing red blood cells (RBC) and hemoglobin (a protein) production in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBCs are produced in the body, so that body's each tissue gets a sufficient supply of oxygen. About Autrin XT Tablet

Autrin XT Tablet belongs to a class of medications called 'haematinics' primarily used to treat anaemia (lack of blood) that occurs mainly due to poor diet, poor absorption of food, or increased folate use in the body (in pregnancy). Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells for carrying adequate oxygen required to various body tissues.

Autrin XT Tablet is a combination of two drugs: Ferrous ascorbate (iron supplement) and folic acid (a form of vitamin B9). Autrin XT Tablet works by increasing red blood cells (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body.
