Betadine 2% Mint Gargle 100 ml is also used to cleanse the mouth for preparation of the oral mucosa before any injection, dental surgery or tooth extraction.
Betadine 2% Mint Gargle 100 ml contains Povidone iodine. It works by inhibiting the growth of infection-causing microbes. As a small molecule, iodine can easily penetrate microorganisms and oxidizes essential proteins, nucleotides, and fatty acids, leading to cell death. It is effective against bacteria, fungi, viruses, and protozoa.
Use Betadine 2% Mint Gargle 100 ml as suggested by a doctor.
