Callact K2 Tablet 10's contains Calcitriol, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, and vitamin K2-7. Calcitriol is a man-made form of Vitamin D3 and treats calcium deficiency. It raises Vitamin D levels and thereby helps in improving the absorption rate of calcium from the stomach. Calcium is a mineral that is used to prevent or treat a calcium deficiency. Calcium and Magnesium provide essential nutrients to maintain healthy muscles, bones, and nerves. Zinc is essential for improving the immune system. Vitamin K2-7 helps to build and maintain bones. Callact K2 Tablet 10's increases mineral content and bone strength and thereby reduces the chance of fracture. Thus, it is used in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and post-menopausal osteoporosis.

Callact K2 Tablet 10's belongs to the class of medicines called dietary supplements used to treat post-menopausal osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones). Postmenopause is a condition in which women have not had a period for 12 months or longer. Osteoporosis is a bone disease that weakens and thins bones by decreasing bone density which is common in post-menopausal women. As the density of bones decreases, they weaken and are more likely to break.
