Do not take Ferium Chewable Tablet if you are allergic to Ferium Chewable Tablet , iron, folic acid, or any of the ingredients of Ferium Chewable Tablet . Tell your doctor about all the medications you use. This includes vitamins, minerals, and herbal products. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor. Ferium Chewable Tablet  is generally given at least four weeks before pregnancy and is continued up to 3 months of pregnancy. Also, if giving Ferium Chewable Tablet  to a child, a child specialist's dose will be decided as an overdose of Ferium Chewable Tablet in children can lead to deadly poisoning. If you have got any part of the stomach removed, please inform your doctor before taking Ferium Chewable Tablet .

Ferium Chewable Tablet is a combination drug containing Iron and Folic acid (haematinics combination) primarily used to treat anaemia. Ferium Chewable Tablet works by boosting the production of red blood cells (RBC) in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBCs are produced in the body, so that body's each tissue gets a sufficient supply of oxygen. 

Take Ferium Chewable Tablet as directed by your doctor. You may experience constipation, dry mouth, loss of appetite, bloating, and diarrhoea in some cases.
