Gestafol Plus Capsule is used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It contains L Methylfolate, Pyridoxine and Methylcobalamin. L Methylfolate helps the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. It prevents and treats folate deficiency. Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. It helps in cognitive development through the biosynthesis of neurotransmitters and maintains normal homocysteine levels (an amino acid in the blood). Methylcobalamin (Mecobalamin) regulates body functions like cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. It treats alcoholic and diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage) and pernicious anaemia.

Gestafol Plus Capsule belongs to the class of 'multivitamins', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss). 

Gestafol Plus Capsule contains L Methylfolate, Pyridoxine and Methylcobalamin. L Methylfolate helps in producing new blood cells and prevents low folate levels. Pyridoxine is a water-soluble vitamin involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Gestafol Plus Capsule may have common side effects like nausea, stomach upset, and diarrhoea.
