Do not use Isowax Ear Drops if you notice any swelling, discharge from the ears, or tinnitus (ringing sounds in the ears), as it may indicate ear inflammation. While instilling the ear drops, do not push the dropper into the ear. Isowax Ear Drops is not recommended for use in children below one year of age. Before taking Isowax Ear Drops, inform your doctor if you have hearing problems (including deafness), intestinal problems (including blockage, swelling, ulcers), kidney problems, myasthenia gravis (neuromuscular disease), and Parkinson's disease. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Isowax Ear Drops belongs to the class of medications called ‘Otic agents’ used to soften the impacted earwax. Earwax build-up occurs due to an ear infection, inflammation, injury, or other conditions such as bone deformations in the ear, skin diseases such as eczema (skin inflammation), or narrowed ear canals.

Isowax Ear Drops is for otic (ear) use only. The common side-effects of Isowax Ear Drops are difficulty sleeping, skin irritation, redness, and headache. These side-effects are usually mild and temporary that doesn’t require medical attention. However, inform your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen.
Do not use Isowax Ear Drops if you are allergic to any of its contents; if you have inflamed ear canal, perforated eardrum, or eczema (skin inflammation) on the outer ear. It is not recommended for use in children below 1 year of age. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
