Directions for Use
Medicinal Benefits
Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule is a combination of four drugs: Alpha-lipoic acid, folic acid, methylcobalamin and pyridoxine hydrochloride. Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule is used to treat neuropathic pain in conditions such as diabetic neuropathy, drug-induced neuropathy, alcoholic neuropathy, and trigeminal neuralgia. Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that helps in providing a protective effect on the nerve tissues and brain. Folic acid is a vitamin that helps in providing essential nutrients to nerves. Methylcobalamin helps in the rejuvenation and protection of damaged nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin. Pyridoxine hydrochloride is necessary for facilitating myelin and neurotransmitter synthesis. Together, Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule helps in providing relief from neuropathic pain. Additionally, Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule may also be used to treat fibromyalgia and post-herpetic neuralgia.
