You are not recommended to take Osteofit-XT Capsule if you have hypercalcemia (high levels of calcium in the blood) as it may worsen the condition. However, the levels of calcium and vitamin D may be checked before starting treatment with Osteofit-XT Capsule .

Does Osteofit-XT Capsule cause hypercalciuria?

Osteofit-XT Capsule may cause hypercalciuria (excess calcium in the urine) if used in excess doses. Therefore, to prevent such condition, take Osteofit-XT Capsule in doses and for the duration as advised by a doctor.

Can I take Osteofit-XT Capsule with levothyroxine?

You are not recommended to take Osteofit-XT Capsule with levothyroxine as co-administration of these two medicines at the same time may reduce the effectiveness of levothyroxine. However, if you are supposed to take both the medicines, you are advised to maintain a time gap of a minimum of 4 hours between taking Osteofit-XT Capsule and levothyroxine.

Is Osteofit-XT Capsule safe for patients having kidney stones?

Osteofit-XT Capsule is not recommended for patients having kidney stones as it may worsen the condition. Therefore, inform your doctor if you have kidney stones or any other kidney problems before taking Osteofit-XT Capsule .
