Medicinal Benefits Mweb

Medicinal Benefits

ScarEnd Gel 15 gm is used to treat several forms of scars after the wounds have healed. It is appropriate for individuals who have movement-inhibiting, hypertrophic, keloid (thick scars that are higher than the skin's surface and occasionally a different colour than the surrounding skin), visually disfiguring scars as a result of a surgery, amputation, burn, or accident. It is also useful for contractures such as Dupuytren's contracture (persistently bent fingers), traumatic tendon contractures, as well as atrophic scars (scars that are lower or higher than the skin's surface). ScarEnd Gel 15 gm contains Allantoin, Heparin sodium, and Allium cepa extract. Allantoin is a keratolytic agent that removes dead skin cells. It also has the effect of speeding up wound healing and softening the skin. Heparin sodium is an anti-inflammatory agent that reduces inflammation symptoms. Allium cepa extract prevents infection by killing the microorganisms. As a result, ScarEnd Gel 15 gm effectively treats scars.

About ScarEnd Gel 15 gm

ScarEnd Gel 15 gm belongs to the group of medications called ‘dermatological agents' primarily indicated for the management of scars occurring due to surgery, burns, stretch marks, acne, and breast amputations. The scar is a brown or pale pink patch of skin that marks the site where the skin has healed.

As a result, ScarEnd Gel 15 gm effectively inhibits scar tissue growth and softens scar tissue.

Use this medication exactly as prescribed by the doctor.
