Drug Warnings

Do not take Surepam Tablet 15's if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform your doctor if you have hypercalcaemia (high level of calcium in the blood), hypercalciuria (excess calcium in the urine), nephrocalcinosis (excess calcium deposition in the kidneys), nephrolithiasis (kidney stones), hypervitaminosis D (excess vitamin D), severe renal impairment or renal failure. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Surepam Tablet 15's should be given to children only if recommended by the doctor. Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medicines or herbal products before starting Surepam Tablet 15's.

Surepam Tablet 15's is a combination of four supplements, namely: Calcium carbonate, cholecalciferol, magnesium hydroxide, and zinc. Surepam Tablet 15's may be used in the management of hypocalcaemia in patients undergoing dialysis, post-menopausal osteoporosis, low calcium levels in hypoparathyroidism, osteomalacia, osteoporosis in males, renal tubular osteocalcaemia, hypocalcaemia and hypomagnesaemia. Calcium carbonate makes the bones stronger by increasing their density. It helps in treating and preventing low calcium levels. Cholecalciferol is a form of vitamin D which helps in the absorption of calcium. Magnesium hydroxide aids in the absorption of calcium by converting vitamin D into its active form. Zinc is necessary for bone-building cells and inhibits the formation of cells that cause the breakdown of bones. It also helps improve vitamin D response and helps arrest bone loss in post-menopausal women. Together, Surepam Tablet 15's helps in strengthening of bones.

Surepam Tablet 15's may be used in the management of hypocalcaemia in patients undergoing dialysis, post-menopausal osteoporosis, low calcium levels in hypoparathyroidism, osteomalacia, osteoporosis, renal tubular osteocalcaemia, vitamin D dependant rickets, hypocalcaemia and hypomagnesaemia.
