Coadministration of dolutegravir with Z & D Dry Syrup 10 ml can reduce the efficacy of dolutegravir.

How to manage the interaction:
Although taking Dolutegravir and Z & D Dry Syrup 10 ml together can possibly result in an interaction, they can be taken together if prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take dolutegravir either two hours before or six hours after taking a dose of Z & D Dry Syrup 10 ml. Do not discontinue using any medications without consulting a doctor.

Do not take Z & D Dry Syrup if you are allergic to any of its contents or if you have a copper deficiency. Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Z & D Dry Syrup should be given to children only if advised by a doctor; the dose may vary depending on the child’s weight. Avoid or limit consumption of alcohol as it might affect the absorption of Z & D Dry Syrup. Tell your doctor if you are taking other medicines or herbal products before starting Z & D Dry Syrup.

Directions for Use

Tablet/Capsule: Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew or break the tablet/capsule.Liquid/Syrup/Suspension/Drops: Take the advised dose using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided by the pack; shake the pack well before use.ODT/lozenges: Place the lozenge/oral dissolving tablet on the tongue and allow it to dissolve.Effervescent tablets: Dissolve the tablet in a glass of water and swallow the contents.Tablet DT/Dispersible tablet: Check the label for directions before use. Disperse the tablet in the advised amount of water and swallow the contents. Do not crush, chew or swallow as a whole.
