DIGUSIL MPS TABLET Substitute

DIGUSIL MPS TABLET is a combination of three drugs: Aluminium hydroxide (antacid), magnesium hydroxide (antacid) and dimethicone (antiflatulent). Aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide works by neutralising excess stomach acid. Dimethicone works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating gas expulsion through flatus or belching (burping). It also prevents accumulation and formation of gas in the digestive tract.

Do not take DIGUSIL MPS TABLET for longer durations unless advised by the doctor. Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better even after taking DIGUSIL MPS TABLET for 1-2 weeks.

Diarrhoea might be a side-effect of DIGUSIL MPS TABLET. Drink lots of fluids and eat non-spicy food if you experience diarrhoea. If you find blood in stools (tarry stools) or if you experience severe diarrhoea, consult your doctor. Do not take anti-diarrheal medicine on your own.

Avoid lying down immediately after meals to prevent acidity. Raise the head of the bed 10-20cm by putting a pillow so that the head and chest are above the waist. This prevents acid reflux.

To treat your condition effectually, continue taking DIGUSIL MPS TABLET for as long as your doctor has advised it for you. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you experience any difficulty while taking DIGUSIL MPS TABLET.
