Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children belongs to the group of medicines called as stimulant laxatives used to treat constipation. Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children increases the intestinal movements, thereby facilitating stool passage. Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children may also be used under medical supervision to empty the bowels prior to surgery, certain medical procedures, pre-or post-operative treatments, and in conditions which require defecation to be facilitated.
Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children works by increasing the intestinal movements, thereby facilitating stool passage.
Diarrhoea might be a side-effect of Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children. Drink fluids and eat non-spicy food if you experience diarrhoea. If you find blood in stools (tarry stools) or if you have severe diarrhoea, consult your doctor. Do not take anti-diarrheal medicine on your own.
Do not use Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children for more than a week as it might lead to dependency on Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children for bowel movement. If your bowel movement is irregular even after using Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children for a week, consult your doctor.
Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children should be used with caution in people with anal fissures, inflammatory bowel disease, and ulcerated haemorrhoids (piles). Consult your doctor if you have any concerns.
The effectiveness of other medicines might be reduced if taken along with Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children. Therefore, maintain a gap of 2 hours between Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children and other medicines.
