Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children may also be used under medical supervision to empty the bowels prior to surgery, certain medical procedures, pre-or post-operative treatments, and in conditions which require defecation to be facilitated.

Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children belongs to the group of medicines called stimulant laxatives used to treat occasional constipation. In this condition, the stools are often dry, painful and hard to pass. 

Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children contains 'Bisacodyl' that increases the activity of the intestines, which facilitates a bowel movement. Thereby, Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children helps treat constipation.

In some cases, Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children may cause side effects such as diarrhoea, abdominal pain/cramps, rectal inflammation or irritation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
