Ormed 500mg Tablet belongs to a class of antibacterial medications called 'nitroimidazoles' primarily used to treat infections caused by protozoans & bacteria. It is used to treat amoebiasis, chlamydiosis, giardia infection, trichomonas infection, vaginal, urinary tract, intestinal and post-operative infections. Ormed 500mg Tablet contains 'Ornidazole' that works by damaging the DNA of the infection-causing agent and inhibiting their growth. Thereby treats infections.

Take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and take the scheduled dose instead. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
