Biozone 1gm Injection belongs to the group of medicines called broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotics used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the symptoms of conditions like respiratory tract infections and bacterial infections.
Biozone 1gm Injection contains Cefoperazone. It binds to specific PBPs (penicillin-binding proteins) located inside the bacterial cell wall, causing the inhibition of the third and last stage of bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is necessary for their survival. Thus it kills bacteria and helps treat bacterial infections.
