Diclomol SP 10 Tablet contains Diclofenac sodium and Serratiopeptidase. Diclofenac sodium works by blocking the release of chemical messengers which cause pain and fever. Serratiopeptidase helps in the breakdown of fibrin, a by-product of blood clots into smaller units. It also promotes fluid drainage in the swollen tissue. Together, Diclomol SP 10 Tablet helps provide relief from pain and inflammation.
Diclomol SP 10 Tablet may be used to reduce and relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Arthritis is the tenderness and swelling in the joints.
Diclomol SP 10 Tablet should not be taken for longer durations unless prescribed by the doctor. If Diclomol SP 10 Tablet has been prescribed for longer durations, regular monitoring of kidney function, liver function and blood count is advised, particularly in elderly patients.
Avoid taking Diclomol SP 10 Tablet if you have ulcers in the stomach or intestines, bleeding problems or heart problems.
Diclomol SP 10 Tablet contains diclofenac sodium which might impair female fertility. Therefore, if you are planning for pregnancy, avoid taking Diclomol SP 10 Tablet . Please consult your doctor, he/she may prescribe alternate medicine.

About Diclomol SP 10 Tablet
Diclomol SP 10 Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat pain and inflammation. Pain can be temporary (acute) or lifelong (chronic) in nature. Acute pain is for short time caused by damage to the tissues of the muscle, bone, or organs. While, chronic pain lasts for a longer duration caused due to nerve damage, osteoarthritis, and dental pain due to damage of the tooth nerve, infection, decay, extraction, or injury.
Diclomol SP 10 Tablet contains Diclofenac sodium and Serratiopeptidase. Diclofenac sodium works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) which cause pain and swelling at the injured or damaged tissue. Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme that helps in the breakdown of fibrin, a by-product of blood clots into smaller units. It also promotes fluid drainage in the swollen tissue. Together, Diclomol SP 10 Tablet treats pain and inflammation.
Take Diclomol SP 10 Tablet as prescribed. Your doctor will advise you how often you take Diclomol SP 10 Tablet based on your medical condition. Common side effects of Diclomol SP 10 Tablet include stomach ache, diarrhoea, nausea (feeling sick), and indigestion. Most of these side effects of Diclomol SP 10 Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
Do not take Diclomol SP 10 Tablet if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. It is not recommended for use in children. Drug Warnings
If you have a severe allergy to painkillers and complications like asthma, rhinitis, angioedema (swelling under the skin) or skin rashes, consult your doctor before taking Diclomol SP 10 Tablet . Consumption of alcohol should be avoided during the treatment with Diclomol SP 10 Tablet as it may lead to unpleasant side effects. Patients with stomach ulcers, gastric bleeding, severe heart failure, stroke, and hypertension (high blood pressure), should not take Diclomol SP 10 Tablet . Besides this, it should be avoided during the last trimester of pregnancy unless advised otherwise by a doctor. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery as intake of Diclomol SP 10 Tablet may cause dizziness. Patients who have recently undergone heart bypass surgery should take Diclomol SP 10 Tablet with caution and only under medical supervision.
