About Emanzen-D Tablet

Emanzen-D Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat pain and inflammation. Pain can be temporary (acute) or lifelong (chronic) in nature. Acute pain is for short time caused by damage to the tissues of the muscle, bone, or organs. While, chronic pain lasts for a longer duration caused due to nerve damage, osteoarthritis, and dental pain due to damage of the tooth nerve, infection, decay, extraction, or injury.

Emanzen-D Tablet contains Diclofenac sodium and Serratiopeptidase. Diclofenac sodium works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) which cause pain and swelling at the injured or damaged tissue. Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme that helps in the breakdown of fibrin, a by-product of blood clots into smaller units. It also promotes fluid drainage in the swollen tissue. Together, Emanzen-D Tablet treats pain and inflammation.

Take Emanzen-D Tablet as prescribed. Your doctor will advise you how often you take Emanzen-D Tablet based on your medical condition. Common side effects of Emanzen-D Tablet include stomach ache, diarrhoea, nausea (feeling sick), and indigestion. Most of these side effects of Emanzen-D Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Do not take Emanzen-D Tablet if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. It is not recommended for use in children. Emanzen-D Tablet may be associated with a small increased risk of heart attack/myocardial infarction; therefore, inform your doctor if you have/had heart problems. Consult your doctor before taking Emanzen-D Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is advisable not to exceed the recommended dose or duration of treatment.

Take Emanzen-D Tablet during or after the meal to minimize symptoms of stomach upset or irritation. Swallow it as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it.

Drug Warnings

If you have a severe allergy to painkillers and complications like asthma, rhinitis, angioedema (swelling under the skin) or skin rashes, consult your doctor before taking Emanzen-D Tablet . Consumption of alcohol should be avoided during the treatment with Emanzen-D Tablet as it may lead to unpleasant side effects. Patients with stomach ulcers, gastric bleeding, severe heart failure, stroke, and hypertension (high blood pressure), should not take Emanzen-D Tablet . Besides this, it should be avoided during the last trimester of pregnancy unless advised otherwise by a doctor. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery as intake of Emanzen-D Tablet may cause dizziness. Patients who have recently undergone heart bypass surgery should take Emanzen-D Tablet with caution and only under medical supervision.

Taking Meloxicam with Emanzen-D Tablet is not recommended as it can possibly result in an interaction, it can be taken if your doctor has advised it.   • Include more glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate, Vitamin D, calcium-enriched supplements. Besides this, turmeric and fish oils can help in reducing inflammation in the tissue.
  • Do not go for heavy exercise as it may increase joint pain in arthritis. Instead, you can do stretching, low impact aerobic exercises like walking on a treadmill, bike riding and swimming. You can also strengthen your muscle by lifting light weights.

Emanzen-D Tablet contains Diclofenac sodium and Serratiopeptidase. Diclofenac sodium works by blocking the release of chemical messengers which cause pain and fever. Serratiopeptidase helps in the breakdown of fibrin, a by-product of blood clots into smaller units. It also promotes fluid drainage in the swollen tissue. Together, Emanzen-D Tablet helps provide relief from pain and inflammation.

Emanzen-D Tablet may be used to reduce and relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Arthritis is the tenderness and swelling in the joints.

Emanzen-D Tablet should not be taken for longer durations unless prescribed by the doctor. If Emanzen-D Tablet has been prescribed for longer durations, regular monitoring of kidney function, liver function and blood count is advised, particularly in elderly patients.

Avoid taking Emanzen-D Tablet if you have ulcers in the stomach or intestines, bleeding problems or heart problems.

Emanzen-D Tablet contains diclofenac sodium which might impair female fertility. Therefore, if you are planning for pregnancy, avoid taking Emanzen-D Tablet . Please consult your doctor, he/she may prescribe alternate medicine.
