Fusi Ointment 5 gm contains ‘Sodium fusidate’ that works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for the survival of the bacteria. Thereby, Fusi Ointment 5 gm helps in treating skin infections.
 
Fusi Ointment 5 gm is generally well-tolerated. However, it may cause mild stinging sensation and irritation in some cases. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. If the side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

• Do not use Fusi Ointment 5 gm on dressing, band-aids and make-up unless told by the doctor.
• If Fusi Ointment 5 gm comes in contact with eyes, nose or mouth, rinse with water immediately.
• Wash your hands before and after using Fusi Ointment 5 gm; however, do not wash your hands if you are applying Fusi Ointment 5 gm on your hands.
