How does the drug interact with Lupisulin R 40IU/ml Solution for Injection 10 ml:
The use of antibiotic (quinolones) has been linked to disruptions in blood glucose maintenance. There have been reports of both decrease in glucose and increase in glucose, mainly in diabetic individuals undergoing concurrent therapy with insulin or an oral antidiabetic medication.

How to manage the interaction:
Blood glucose should be closely watched, particularly if the patient is elderly, has renal impairment, or is very sick. When using insulin and insulin secretagogues (such as meglitinides and sulfonylureas) together, extra vigilance is suggested due to the possibility of severe and potentially hypoglycemia.
