Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml works by inhibiting DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thereby, kills bacteria and clears the infection.

You are not recommended to wear contact lenses while using Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml as it contains benzalkonium chloride, a preservative that changes the colour of contact lens as it may be absorbed by soft contact lens. Benzalkonium chloride also causes irritation in the eye especially if you have disorders of cornea (transparent layer at the front of eye) or dry eyes. Therefore, you are advised to remove contact lenses before using Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml and reinsert them after 15 minutes after using Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml. Also, inform your doctor if you experience pain, stinging or abnormal sensation in the eye after using Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml.

Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after using. Therefore, you are recommended to wait until your vision is clear before driving or operating machinery.

Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml is not used to treat fungal infection in the eye. Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml is only used to treat bacterial eye infections.

You are not recommended to stop using Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml without consulting your doctor as it may worsen the infection. About Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml

Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml belongs to the class of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial eye infections including conjunctivitis and ulcers of the cornea. Conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common bacterial eye infection associated with the inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye) and the inner eyelid. 

Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml contains Ofloxacin which works by inhibiting DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thereby, kills bacteria and clears infection.

Use Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml as prescribed by your doctor. Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Directions for Use

Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml is for ophthalmic use only. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml. Do not touch the container’s tip to the eye, eyelids, or surrounding areas as it may contaminate Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml.Eye drops: Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of drops advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes. Replace the outer cap after use. Eye ointment: Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Squeeze a tiny amount of the ointment into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
